HTML is the simple language used to format web pages. The codes below will help you make your product entries more attractive.  Many of the codes require a closing tag to turn them off.

If you press the Enter key in the single line input boxes, it will activate RETRIEVE and you will lose what you entered.  The text will wrap automatically in the multi-line boxes.  You can use the Enter key to organize the lines but they will not effect their display.  Use the codes below to format multiple paragraphs.

Arranging your text:
<P> Starts a new paragraph with a blank line.
<BR> Starts a new line without a blank line.
<HR> Starts a new line.  Then draws a centered horizontal line and starts another line.
<HR SIZE=1 WIDTH="200" COLOR=Black> will make it black and thinner.
The width must be enclosed in quotes.

  • Starts a new line with a Bullet
    • <CENTER>
    <CENTER>Sets the text as centered on a new line</CENTER>
    <TAB>      Will add a five space indent at the beginning of a paragraph. If the paragraph is using a proportional font, it will be five half spaces.
    To Emphasize words or phrases:
    <B> Makes the text between the tags <B>BOLD</B>
    <I> Makes the text between the tags <I>Italic</I>
    <U> Makes the text between the tags <U>Underlined</U>
    On web pages only links are normally underlined.
    <TT> Makes fixed width text between the tags <TT>Teletype 1234</TT>
    <BIG> Makes the text between the tags <BIG>Larger</BIG>
    <SMALL> Makes the text between the tags <SMALL>Smaller</SMALL>
    Adding Color to your text:
    <FONT COLOR=> Changes color between the tags <FONT COLOR=Red>Color</FONT>
    Some Standard Colors:  Aqua, Black, Blue, Fuchsia, Gray, Green, Lime, Maroon, Navy, Olive, Purple, Red, Silver, Teal, Orange, Yellow, or White.
    <FONT SIZE=> Changes the size between the tags <FONT SIZE=5>Size</FONT>
    <FONT SIZE=4 COLOR=Blue>Can change both</FONT>
    Standard Sizes:  1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7.  SIZE=3 is the default.
    <FONT FACE=> Changes fonts between the tags <FONT FACE="Arial">Text Here</FONT>
    <FONT SIZE=3 COLOR=Blue FACE="Arial">Can change the complete appearance</FONT>
    The font face must be enclosed in quote marks.
